With a growing roster of blogs as a crucial element of its customer and developer relations, Adobe wanted to outsource its operation to a specialized blog services company. In 2009 Blog Consulting upgraded all 330 of Adobe’s blogs to the latest version of Movable Type, and moved them to one of our high availability server clusters. We also designed a custom authentication plugin that lets all Adobe bloggers log in using Adobe’s proprietary LDAP system instead of a standard Movable Type login.

In 2010 Adobe contacted Blog Consulting to migrate total of 1,200 blogs from Movable Type to WordPress 3.0. The project was successfully completed within 2 months.

Adobe uses Blog Consulting’s Monthly Maintenance and Support package, and outsources all their blog support requests to our consultants, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
