Blogging with a cup of home made espresso

coffeeI love coffee! No, I’m not an addict 🙂 I mostly drink for the experience. I’m writing this post sitting at a local Barnes and Noble, sipping Starbucks Cappuccino. If I didn’t have a cup of coffee I would feel like something is missing. When I wake up in the morning first thing I do is make myself a cup of coffee. I like to experiment. Let me explain. At first I would go to a local coffee shop to get a cup on my way to the office. I then realized how expensive it can get and decided to buy a nice espresso machine for my house. Half a year later I got tired of all the lattes and wanted something different again. Instant coffee. After a day or two I gave it to my mother as a present 😉

One day my friends came over with a french press. I was back in business. Next day I went to the local Target store and got myself some coffee beans and a french press. I’ve now been using it for almost two months and I’m loving it. I think this is what I was looking for all those years. It is extremely easy to make a perfect cup of coffee in exactly 5 minutes. Heat some water, grind beans, pour hot water over the beans and wait 3-4 minutes for the coffee to steep. Then pour it in your favorite coffee cup. Watch some YouTube videos for more detailed instructions.

What’s your favorite coffee or coffee beans?
